Longest Road Trains

Welcome to the Hog's Breath Cafe-Mack Road Train.  With the support of Mack Trucks Australia and another brand new tri drive Titan, we will be attempting a new record for the longest road train in Clifton at Meara Place on the February 18 2006 at midday.

With the financial support of Hog's Breath Cafe's we aim to assemble and move a 1700 meter road train, made up of an estimated 120 trailers, more than 100 metres.

The event will be held in accordance with Guinness World Record (GWR) rules and an official GWR representative will be present on the day to provide an immediate clarification on the result.

Bandag are sponsoring the appearance of the Bandag Bullet, a truck designed to test the reliability of Bandag retreads with its massive burnouts. The Bandag Bullet is now officially the world’s fastest truck after recently blasting down the runway at the Bundaberg Airport, smashing the world record for a one kilometre run, and potentially setting eight world records on the way. The Bullet set the record for a conventionally powered truck, reaching a record terminal speed of over 300 kilometres per hour – from a standing start.
One of the personalised plates from the truck will be auctioned that night at the post event dinner to be held at the Cathedral Centre in Toowoomba, only a Twenty minute drive from Clifton.

Tickets for the dinner can be purchased from Empire Theatre or by phoning 1300 655 299. Entertainment for the evening will be supplied by Adam Harvey, James Blundell and hosted by Power Torque's, Chris Mullet.
Moore Trailers are also kindly donating a New Zealand holiday for two for 8 nights for those supplying trailers, dollies or tractors
Funds raised will go to the Vanessa Memorial Cancer Care fund.
The local Clifton show will also be on the same day and spectators are urged to check it out.
