Welcome to the
Hog's
Breath Cafe-Mack Road Train.
With the support of
Mack
Trucks Australia and another brand new tri drive Titan, we
will be attempting a new record for the longest road train in Clifton
at Meara Place on the
February
18 2006 at midday.
With the financial support of
Hog's
Breath Cafe's we aim to assemble and move a
1700 meter road train,
made up of an estimated 120 trailers, more than 100 metres.
The event will be held in accordance with Guinness World Record (GWR)
rules and an official GWR representative will be present on the day to
provide an immediate clarification on the result.
Bandag are sponsoring the appearance of the Bandag Bullet, a truck
designed to test the reliability of Bandag retreads with its massive
burnouts. The Bandag Bullet is now officially the world’s
fastest truck after recently blasting down the runway at the Bundaberg
Airport, smashing the world record for a one kilometre run, and
potentially setting eight world records on the way. The Bullet set the
record for a conventionally powered truck, reaching a record terminal
speed of over
300 kilometres
per hour – from a standing start.
One of the personalised plates from the truck will be auctioned that
night at the post event dinner to be held at the Cathedral Centre in
Toowoomba, only a Twenty minute drive from Clifton.

Adam Harvey,

Blundell and hosted by Power Torque's,
Chris Mullet.
Moore Trailers are also kindly donating a New Zealand holiday for two
for 8 nights for those supplying trailers, dollies or tractors
Funds raised will go to the Vanessa Memorial Cancer Care fund.
The local Clifton show will also be on the same day and spectators are
urged to check it out.
